iphone 3g signal issue,please help - GSM-Forum

Hello everyone
I hope someone here has the knowledge to help me out and give me the right solution for the problem I am having.

I have this phones which is unlocked and jailbroken.
However sometime the signals are full and sometime are weak that it goes to no service.
It does the same thing will all the sim card i use(vodafone,virgin,O2)

-I have replaced the bottom dock (the usb one which has the signal antenna as well) but no luck
-I have restored the firmware several times and jailbroken it but no luck
-I have reset the network settings but no luck

is it there anything else that might be causing this problem?
