question about iphone 4 problem after replacement new LCD+touch - GSM-Forum

i replaced 3 new lcd+touch on 3 pcs iphone 4

now i get this problem the sensors doesnt work when you call so that the screen goes black that you wont touch any buttons..

so i returned the lcds back to the shop and get new lcd+touch
but still same problem can any one please tell me how this can be ?

quality of the touch is bad or need to replace the sensor also but before replacement sensors was working

hope anyone can help

thats not a lcd proble mate ..just change sensor ribbon ..

how can this be? you cant even damage the sensor flex

You do not have to change the sensor ribbon.

Look at the LCDs you have put. The place where there is opening for light to go to the sensor (above the earpiece) is in all probability a single oval shape like this - http://www.lamboinc.com/imageup/acce...D-4g-bk-01.jpg

Whereas you need a split in that oval which separates light to the two sensors on the iPhone 4 something like this -

Sometimes doing so with a marker from the inside or with black insulation tape does the trick.

I do not have LCDs in stock right now but will try posting a picture soon.
