Iphone 4G searching, very low signal/no service

Hello All

My daughter's iPhone 4 has started behaving strangely, as it suddently can't find any cell networks or 3G connection, just says searching / no service, and then seldom a very weak signal. Wifi works perfectly. She say that she might have dropped it, but don't recall... definitely no water damage.

This is what I have done so far:
Checked the time and date.
Changed the SIM card.
I have restored to factory setting in iTunes.
I have switched the antenna.
I have checked the blue coil (not missing and in place, can't move it)

Any good advise?

Thanks

How do I check these? It does not report IMEI or BB problems.

You did everything right, the only thing you have to do is change your PA. Your network PowerAmplefier seems not to work.
Thats ic U1_rf
It cost a few bucks on ebay. Change this ic and the network will be full power again.
It was a common problem in the old days. I use to fix a lot of 4 in the past.

Have fun fixing

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Could putting pressure over U1_rf fix the problem, I am not skilled to change such an IC.
