Member: 1935507 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | iphone 4s display I got recently an iPhone 4s with some issues and I couldn't get them solved. I got it with a cracked screen and when I disassembled the phone I noticed the heavy corrosion at the connector. I thought if it worked with the old screen it is going to work with the new one too, so I just replaced the screen and tada! It didn't work. So the first thing I did was cleaning the connector with 70% alcohol and leaving it to dry out for around 5-10 hours. Anyways after that I got the backlight to turn on and nothing more. Well I read some post about soaking the mainboard in the alcohol,so I did it and left it in rice to dry out for about a week but I still just get the backlight to turn on and nothing more. I mean the display is black but I can see the display lighten up from the back. What are your suggestions? |
