iPhone 4s error -1 Solution
 

Hi, i have iphone 4s before restore it was working fine...but now at the end of the restore process...iTunes giving me error -1..and phone is just showing iTunes with Cable sign...after that i have tryed different tricks that i have got from the forum...but i am not able to get rid of the iTunes error -1....if any body have any other solution regarding this issue kindly share here..thanks

i have already tryed following tricks

1- connect with tinyumbrella-6.12.00 and Click on Exit Recovery

2- Remove and change the battery and then restore

3- Replace charging port flex cable and try to restore

bro try restore in itunes..not in ipsw..maybe can help u..

Try to change PC, disable firewall and restore again. Or it can be HW problem too.

no perfect solution for any i-device on error -1 at the moment. has to do with a defective baseband chip. but ive tried heating up some ic on the board of an iphone4s that worked for a while. but still entered recovery by itself after a couple of weeks. now back to error -1 again. so u can try urs that way and post results.

i have same iphone 4s it was iphone desabled and when try to restore error -1 appear somtimes in other computer error 14 tried in windows 7 and xp in 3pc

any one have solution

different cable worked for me

tried 4 or five cable even one of them have only 20 cm long

-1 hardware problem baseband cant write thats why you got -1 error

thanks for answer then am i right to say flash with custom firmware to prevent or bypass base band when flash???

try to do this but i think this is not work all...........bcz BB is very importent.....when u flash it...........

download fresh copy of firmware and restore again work for me 3 times

i also try iphone 4
when phone start restoring after a while it give -1 error
customer says i was updating my phone....

if anyone finds a solution to get the phone to boot even without a baseband i dont care i just wanna turn the damn thing on lol please pm me or post here
