iPhone 4S jailbreak Status

MuscleNerd has announced on his twitter account that the iPhone Dev Team has successfully jailbroke the iPhone 4S. Also MuscleNerd has posted a couple of screen shots of a jailbroken iPhone 4S.

The tweet from MuscleNerd is not all good news as he also announced that there still problems with the jailbreak and there is no ETA on the release date.

VERY preliminary 4S JB (Huge missing pieces prevent public release. LOTS of work left)

Let’s hope that we have the iPhone 4S jailbreak soon.

iPad 2 Jailbreak On iOS 5

MuscleNerd has announced on his twitter account that the iPad 2 Jailbreak On iOS 5 has been successfully done, This was just minutes after he announced that the iPhone 4S has been jailbroken but with no ETA on the public release.

iPad 2 Jailbreak On iOS 5

Since both the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 has the same dual core A5 processor chip, they will have the same jailbreak, MuscleNerd announced. And as the iPhone 4 there is a lot of work to do and no ETA on the release date.

Here’s a short video of current JB working on iPad2 (Just like iPhone4S, lots of hurdles remain, no ETAs)

Good work So far from the iPhone Dev Team. Waiting for iPad 2 Jailbreak……
