Member: 815786 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 37 | Iphone 4S restore 5.1.1 failed, error 3149, error 1600 I have an iphone 4s which shows" iphone disabled connect to itunes" I try to restore ios 5.1.1 in DFU mode but always failed. I updated to the latest version of itunes. even install itunes on another pc, same result. I did few days of research on the net but can't find any working solution. I try to edit the file host, deleted all gs.apple.com line then i'll get the error 3194 right after verifying with Apple..... If I leave that gs.apple.com line at the end of the host file it will bypass error 3194. but instead error 1600 right after preparing phone..... some people say deleting all gs.apple.com entry in host file will work. but not in my case, without gs.apple.com entry ------>error 3194 with gs.apple.com entry--------> error 1600 Experts can you explain to me how do I solve this problem? I have not try to restore most recent firmware, because I don't want to update my phone to ios 6, because I'm afraid my GPP sim won't work anymore. |
