Iphone 4s -restore to older firmware version - GSM-Forum

Hi I purchased I phone 4s from ebay which is stuck in iTunes logo. I tried to restore it into iOS 7.0.6 using iTunes in Mac computer and it gives me error "The iPhone could not be restored .This device isn't eligible for the requested build"

and there is no line from apple in sudo nano /private/etc/host
even I tried to restore with windows machine which gives me error 1394 and there is no line from apple in host file .

I am using iTunes version 11.1.5 . I want to jailbreak iPhone after restore . Please help me

dear x34 download 7.1.1 firmware and restore with itunes in dfu mode yours iphone will alive

you cant restore with old firmware use 7.1.1

I tried with 7.1.1 but still the same error. And also without charger or connected to computer I could not power on the phone
