Member: 729556 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | This is most often a very bad error due to fault of baseband chip. Restore iPhone with iTunes on a different computer. If you get same error there is no fix. Apple handles this with replacement iPhone 4S for $199. Here are Apple steps for error 1: Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. |
