Question IPhone 4s weak wifi. Very strange (not greyed out wifi problem)

Hi guys. I have a 4s which came to me with a broken wifi antenna connecter. The wifi was weak and only working when you are near router. I have soldered the connecter back onto the board but the problem remains. I am sure this is not the common "greyed out" wifi chip problem, because wifi always works when I am near router, just a very weak signal. I would appreciate any help as this has been puzzling me and another phone expert. Thanx

hello, im no phone expert but i've just bought an iphone 4s off ebay with th wifi button frozen. I tried loads of different things to get it to work, then stumbled across a vieo on youtube where a phone expert had the same issue. I tried it and cant believe i paid so little for the phone and its now working perfectly.
This may sound like telling you how to suck eggs but all the problem was with mine was after taking the back cover off the phone there's a small screww at the top wich holds all the wifi in place all i done was tighten this srew. Worked for me.

Steve
