iphone custom restore to IPSW error 3194 - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have jailbroken iphone 3GS BB 5.15 purchased in march 2011. Trying to restore using ipsw file downloaded on PC so that BB is upgrdaed to 6.15. It gives error 3194. Tried everything - Saved SHSH blobs using tinyumbrella first, still got the error. Then used ifaith s/w to save them from iphone instead on cydia server. 13 of 13 SHSH files were saved. Still getting the same error. The windows host file is now updated with "74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com". Should this be removed or commented?
Should i try anything else?
IS there anyway iphone 3GS with 4.2.1 be unlocked without upgrading BB to 6.15?

No there is no way to downgrade your baseband 5.15
And 3194 is a Host error
Basically make sure you are restoring 4.3.3
delete all Hosts from etc folder
uncheck the box use saurik server in advance option of tinyumberella(better is use a pc without timyumberella)
and is you wanna 6.15 bb
so just download redsn0w0.9.4rc17 and browse 4.3.3.ipsw in it check the box install ipad baseband

from drive c: windows ,system32 ,drivers,etc, then edit hosts to text document delete host and save...goodluck

which file u have?because ur firmware not compitable so u face problems.

Please help me with ipad1, am trying to restore it with 4.3.2 it keep giving me error 3194, but if i restore with 4.3.3 it gives me error 21 and 1604. please what can I do.
