Iphone custome OS only by Pwntool - GSM-Forum

Hi guy,

I dont know if this is true by many say the custom firmwares done by PwnagTool on MAC works better then windows. Can someone verify this if there is truth in this can plz some direct me to the site where ppl have uploaded custom firmware done only with PwnagTool on a MAC.

The problem is Iphone 4 is stuck in DFU mode. I have tried everything possible like Host file editing custom firmware, Tiny umbrella Ireb and wat not Lolz. When I try to restore the firmware the phone does not come out of DFU mode and update its self rather itunes throws up a error 1601 or 1602 I have tried everything possible with this phone. If anyone out there had a similar prob and was able to get the phone out of DFU and successfully restore it plz let me know. By the way the phone is factory unlock.

if u have factory unlock then you have to restore on 4.3.5 & wait for untethered jailbreak. this is the esiest way. otherwise restore to 4.1 and you will get error 1013 use recboot to exit recovery. i did many

Bro the prob is when I try to restore to any version even on 4.3.5 or 4.1 the phone does not come out of DFU thats where I am stuck I just cant update the phone
