cant find the virsion phone is locked....

i tried this method http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f456...itunes-722040/
but can open the software getting a error...

no way to remove password.because when you want explore the phone the software give error...:-(
the only way its restore it with ******* firmware to save basebande

i had little program about that. but it was work only on 2.0 - 2.1 software versions...
i can not find any program or utility for new versions...

Here is the solution for your phone, this bundle will remove 'iPhone disabled' on 4.1 3GS without DFU restore, will take about 1- 2 minutes

to use this, simply put your iPhone in DFU mode, start redsn0w 0.96b6 and tick only 'Install custom bundle' then browse to the file i have uploaded above. You don't need to install Cydia or any other option. when the phone starts up again it will be enabled, It just writes 'fresh' springboard prefs with springboard devicedisabled key set to false

In case you don't realise this is solution for 'iPhone disabled' NOT for removing iPhone password.
for removing password on 4.x firmware you must use ramdisk and manually backup and restore, frm data protection. since password involves system keybag, no longer in keychain

to remove password on 4.x firmware using msft guy SSH ramdisk builder here is a very basic script to allow you SSH over USB access, (full instructions on his site), once you mount the disks you can use another script to retrieve your photos, music etc or do it manually.

of course replace the ramdisk, kernelcache, ibss to iOS/device specific for your needs, you can grab the decryption keys from iPhonewiki for any firmware in order to unpack and generate the ssh ramdisk
