Sign in with the apple id that was used to set up this iphone. You wont be able to use this device unless you are the user who did the setup from inception. Hopefully there may be a way around that.

Activation lock : Hundreds of millions use Find My iPhone to find their phone, but also when it's been stolen - Now, with activation lock, if a thief tries to turn off Find My iPhone or wipe the device entirely, they won't be able to reactivate it unless they have your Apple ID and password.

If u don't know the Apple ID and password before u restore on ios7 or even downgrade to 614, there is a 95% chance that the phone is not for u!!!! If it is for u and u don't remember your password, there a link on the activation screen where u can reset password.

This is the best protection against iphone theft since d beginning of iphone

If u want to buy any iphone now, make sure u ask d seller if he has signed out of iCloud. If possible, face to face transaction will b d best option. Or rather buy only from a trusted seller

Oh yeah Waiting for your story about successful conversation with seller about that, especially when you are in Nigeria and seller is in the USA ...
Stop dreaming man ! It's bad move from Apple, I bought my own phone legally, after that, when owner's contract has been expired and now Apple violates my rights to use my legal phone ?!
