Check imei on display, if not showing its physical problem or baseband bad, I also have seen couple of such phones with same problem and only way is Apple service center can repair.

I see the imei sir, iphone 5 have imei on back of phone , I said to look on the display , screen , if imei showing on phone, and its so rude of you maybe you are so intellegent then find yourself the way , I was just trying to help, which I think you dont need. I have personally seen such phones which ask for contact to apple service center and all those had imei no showing on screen of phone.

Yes u are right it is imei baseband problem not read imei back off phone pree i sign when phone on screen lock you will find it is cruppted

1) next time you have to open your eyes widely and post your problem in proper section, it's 5/5s section, not 4/4s
2) if you see normal IMEI on activation screen, there are two option for you:
- call to nearest Apple care center
- get 4s schematic and check all main voltage levels on the PCB

can not be activated check this step
1. check your imei matching on serial number (you can check on service status online and then check on your phone )
2. check you phone is can see iccid from sim card or not (click on (!) on screen)

other is basic like internet connecting ,saver down,

if you iphone has been jailbreak before apple will not grant you the activiation, go to apple support for more details

we all know the new ios7 is in the market , with new ios7 your phone can be unlocked only if you know the icloud user details or your iphone has never been to icloud .

No solution for it at the moment
