No the first link only shows in what mobile operators gives iphones in different regions.

Smile apple 3gs stuck on apple

i applied this on too many phones...

1- connect iphone to itunes
2-update it to 3.1.3 version
3- remove cable from iphone when it show updating iphone firmware
4- after remove cable run ih8snow 3.1.2 for windows
5- select fix recovery mode loop
6- after that iphone must to restart on activate screen
7- activate it with original carrier sim.......
8-run spirit jailbreak...
9- enjoy.....

guys , after remove the cable when updating starts .. got error 9 ... good.
but i cant restart iphone to recovery mode , it stays on dfu mode with black screen

in my iphone removed the cable from iphone when it show
