iphone4 error 3194 show in restor & updation

when i try to restor & update iphone4 its show error 3194. plz help how i fix it .thanxx

you need edited host first, then restore...

Close iTunes.

Locate the Hots file:

Windows:
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate hosts file.
Open and edit the hosts file in Notepad.
Note: Win 7 and Vista users MUST run Notepad with admin privileges. Right click on Notepad app and select Run as Administrator.
Mac OS X:
Go to \etc\ directory and locate hosts file. Copy it on your desktop
Open the hosts file in TextEdit.

Add the following lines to the very bottom of the hosts file:
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
remove any other line that contains gs.apple.com

Put your iDevice into DFU Mode and Try restoring it via iTunes.

That’s it! You should now be able to successfully restore

First we need which version u restore to ur iphone......
Apple just accept latest firmware restore if u don't have old firmware shsh to restore earlier Firmware........

mostly this error comes its mean u need to up date new version online update....

if its same ..u change host file. copy and past

used tiny umbrella..mobile show recover mood then start tss server

open i tune restore after any error..used..redsn0w_win_0.9.8b1

in tinyumbrela go to advance and uncheck set host to cydia on exit.
