3GS Searching network without sim - GSM-Forum

facing this stupid problem everyday and want to hv safe solution about this.
bb 6.15 OS 5.01 after jailbreak phone remain searching network without sim card.
1. been updating custom 5.0.1 built by sn0wbreeze without success
2. been restarting phone many times without success,
3. when i downgrade to 4.1 all ok but customer shouting on me since she can't Sync her device to restore backed up data saved already from her pc.

PS: Phone should remain on the latest OS means 5.0.1 unlocked

what's really gone wrong ?

download redsnow 9.10b4
1.open redsnow
2.press extra
3.select 5.01 ipsw and select ios file
4.press jailbreak
5.tick install cydia&ipade bassband
6.next follow steps

done lot of sets.............

also latest redsnow crashing when i try to jailbreak OS 5.0.1
Tried 2 different PC without success ...

try with seven, if not work test on fresh install.

Me, when i put on dfu mode iphone before run redsnow, redsnow crash.

Put on dfu in time with redsnow, or connect iphone in dfu mode after 5 seconds when redsnow says connect iphone.

jailbreack again without cydia, flash only ipad modem 100% solution, i haved many phones with same problem.

if you write again ipad baseband same problem
then ,100% hardware problem change baseband chip then ok

You must to turn of phone and turn on,when you see apple logo now restart with procedure to jailbreak 5.0.1.

searching w/out sim? you try to insert simcard? what is the status of or fon now?

Hey bro dont be worry just restore again with orignal 5.0.1 not custom
Restore 5.0.1 orignal
Open redsn0w 9.10b3 or later
click extra
select firmware 5.0.1
click jailbreak
and make sure tick cydia and ipad basband update
and follow the instructrion after complte
just unlock using ultrasn0w 1000% working

if you try org restore then get error,cant recover from loop in 5.0.1, becouse allready ipad baseband, so only solution custom restore..

Thnx guy but i finally did it by these steps:

1. downgrade to 4.1
2. restore back custom firm built with redsn0w
3. restored back again with Activated custom ispw built with sn0wbreeze.

All done, devce unlocked running OS5.0.1
