ipod 160gb restore problem

when i try to restore my ipod then i face

the ipod cant be restored because it contains file that are in use another application

whats type of problem ?

pls help

full reset and try again
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button simultaneously for at least eight seconds or until the Apple logo appears. You may need to repeat this step.

this ipod no have any volume

put your ipod in disk mode

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Menu button and plug usb cable you Ipod in DFU mode ready for restore

Try and post result!

just recovery with itunes .and after recovery i lost previous programme.now display just show do not disconnect .and i am disconnect then show ok to disconnect
