Ipod touch 1stgen auto-turn-off - GSM-Forum

I have an ipod touch 1st gen that will show full battery one time i turn it on and show no battery the next. It will turn on when charged but if you get into a game or something it will turn off within 5 minutes. So i thought it would be a battery issue but i switched it out for the first time and did a pretty good job. Turned on and everything just like i would've hoped for bt again within 5 mins turned off and was showing a dead battery. Any help appreciated. Thanks

When i power the phone up one time it will say that it has full battery as it does cause i let it charge for hours, then will die and when i turn it back on it will say it's dead. Then i turn it back on and it shows dead...really weird
