iTunes Error 1 - Can't fix ! - GSM-Forum

First,hi all.

I have an iPhone 4 and i'll try to update it to 4.3.5 with shsh blobs,it goes about 70% of the process of updating,then stops and iTunes shows me error (1).Then I try to restore with 4.2.1 (shsh blobs saved) same error.The only way to get out from this error after it has been shown on iTunes,is with redsn0w (new version 0.9.9b7),to jailbreak the iPhone and then everything works well.

But,i want to update to 4.3.5 to update my baseband to 4.10 but with iTunes showing error 1 it can't be done.

Every suggestion would be appreciated.

Yesterday 1 Iphone 3GS 8GB and Today 1 Iphone 3GS.

After downgrade with itunes no imei no wifi no bluetooth and only -1 error shows me in Itunes.

PLEASE HELP US

you can fix the error 1 in itunes it's like 1013,what your shsh saved version?

tried the methot of 1013 for fixing error 1 but now i get error 3194.

I have SHSH for 4.2.1 and 4.3.5.

Try loading 4.1 in DFU mode.(start TSS server in Tiny Umbrella while restoring.

Use custom firmware to downgrade and use ONLY Saurik server IP in hosts file
After it use fixrecovery

Custom firmwares does not update baseband.I want to update the baseband to 4.10,but i can't because i get error 1.This error stops the baseband upgrade.That's the problem.

this is very common error since new itunes and ios 5 is released ,but theres no solution published for this yet .

for 3gs no soution found .

for 4 you simply deactivate after complete restore with ios5 .

HI,
if you need fixed this problem
after you get error 1
use redsn0w last version
go xtras/select IPSW&chois your restor file&chois recovery fix, then next &go iphone dfu mode
wait 12 minets, no your iphone powre normal put you cant downgread the baseband.

Error 1
Unable to downgrade. Try changing the USB port (the back one of chassis is better) and restart computer.
The installed version of iTunes may also be too old. Update iTunes.
