Itunes recognise Iphone 4 as iPad

Hi.
I've got "little" problem. I got iPhone 4, and it's in DFU but when i connect it to PC iTunes says that iPad is connected but in recovery mode. I tried put coustom 5.0.1 firmware but no results. When i push restore (wuthout shift) iTunes starts to download iPad firmware
Any ideas?
thaks in advance

paste this in computer's explorer bar and press enter to open:

Quote:
%appdata%\Apple Computer\iTunes\Device Support
delete all files inside the folder and try again.

by the way, does the same thing happen when you try to start restore from recovery mode?

this didn't help.
it shows:
The iPad could not be restored becouse the firmware file is not compatible
That's it.

and it's stuck in DFU now and can't get it back to recovery mode

Holding both buttons for 30+ seconds, or trying to exit out with redsn0w 'just boot' option does nothing?
