Hi Team,

I have an IPHONE 3GS ( MB715LL, OS -4.2.1 ) and i would like to get it jailbroken. And i have the following questions regarding the same :

1) Which is the best tool that i can use to jailbreak it ?

2) Is there any chance of it getting bricked ?

3) Will i loose all my Applications / messages / music if i get it jailbreaked ?

4) Also will it unlock my phone to be used by other providers?

All the help would be appreciated.

use redsnow to jailbreak it. you need to download iphone restore file 4.2.1
if you have locked phone, install ipad baseband with redsnow follow procedure

for ver 4.2.1 jb is tethered only until now , it means that if u switch of the phone u need to press just boot tethered right now via redsn0w

don't worry, jailbreak how I said, you will not loose data and your iPhone will boot normal. it has old boot

MB715LL, OS -4.2.1

i am having a hard time looking for a place to download Redsn0w from...can anyone provide me with the link to download redsn0w for untethered jailbreaking iphone 3gs ( MB715LL, OS -4.2.1 ) ??
