Jailbreak iOS 6 GM tethered on A4 devices Using Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4
 

Hey Apple fans every where, As you know Apple has released iOS 6 Golden Master to the developers shortly after the finish of the iPhone 5 media event yesterday. The iPhone Dev Team has released Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 to jailbreak the A4 devices [iPhone 3GS/4 and iPod Touch 4G] on iOS 6 GM.

Today, MuscleNerd has managed to update the popular jailbreak tool Redsn0w to version 0.9.13dev4 which jailbreak iOS 6 GM on the A4 devices [iPhone 3GS/4 and iPod Touch 4G].
This jailbreak is a tethered jailbreak meaning that you must connect your device to your PC or Mac and preform a tethered boot every time you restart, power on your device.
This jailbreak doesn’t install Cydia on your device it only allow you to SHSH in your iPhone and iPod Touch which is very usefull for developers but not so much for users. So, You may would like wait for the jailbreak until cydia if compatible with iOS 6.
How To Jailbreak iOS 6 GM On A4 Devices?

#1: Download iOS 6 GM, Download the latest iTunes.
#2: Download Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 for Mac / Windows.
#3: Extract the zip file, launch Redsn0w, Hit “Extras” > “Select IPSW” and point Redsn0w to iOS 6 GM IPSW.
#4: On Redsn0w’s main screen hit “Jailbreak” and follow the on screen instructions to put your device in DFU mode.
#5: Because it’s a tethered jailbreak, Now you are going to tethered boot your device by going into “Extras” > “Just Boot” and follow the on screen instructions to boot your device.
That’s it, You have successfully jailbroken your A4 Device.

Jailbreak 6.0: For those of you that have already updated to iOS 6, we have some good news. There is already a usable jailbreak if you have an A4 or earlier device, which includes the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, and iPhone 3GS. Read on to learn how to jailbreak these devices. The newest update to Redsn0w also means you wont have to go through the process of SSHing into your device to install Cydia, Redsn0w once again does that for you.

restore from any 5.x iOS to any other (up, down or the same) 5.x iOS on all devices as long as you have the correct blobs (see more below)

any time a set of blobs is fetched remotely (from Apple or Cydia), redsn0w also saves them locally (and will check there first if you click “Local”)
for your future restoring convenience, you should also submit all of your past and present TinyUmbrella blobs to Cydia if you haven’t done so yet. Resubmitting is okay and won’t cause conflicts.

Note: This only supports the devices listed in the title, any device with an A4 processor or earlier. Additionally, this jailbreak will be tethered, so you will have to repeat the last steps of this tutorial every time you restart your device.
