jailbreak unactivated iphone 4 ios 7.1.2 - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have an iPhone 4 with icloud, I did bypass the activation screen by deleting setup.app.

Now I can use the phone but can not jailbreak it with pangu as it's not activated.

is there a way to hacktivate and jailbreak the phone under ios 7.1.2? like we use to do with Redsn0w.

I just did this this morning because Pangu wouldn't JB unactivated phone.

1 Use GeekSn0w to tether jailbreak ios 7.1.2
2.Boot tethered
3. then in cydia download the Pangu untether package. Here's a cydia source with the package. smolk's Repository - MyRepoSpace.com
4. Reboot phone

u can try downgrading to 6.1.2 (worked for me)

anyway this way for hacktivate 7.1.2 worked for u?.

I just did that, now my phone won't turn on.
It starts up, shows lock screen for a second, and then screen fades away, then apple logo shows up and tries to boot up again over and over...

The last message was referred to C1aytron's suggestion to use pangu untheter package on GeekSn0w tether jailbreak...
Btw I let it try booting up without usb cable connected, and it showed blue screen, after holding home and sleep button it started the process all over again...

restore again but this time dont delete startup setup..............just replace data_ark under mnt2/root/library/lockdown............. then jailbreak it by paungu

this should be set to true, so icloud.com can locate the phone.
