Need 3gs help BB 6.10 FW 4.2.1 - GSM-Forum

ok this phone i have is the 16 gig iphone 3gs, BB 6.10, with custom Fw 4.2.1. Tethered and jailbroken. from mid december, but this morning while on charge the phone seem to restart because i jus saw the apple symbol and wont boot up. so i put it in DFU mode and use redsn0w 0.9.6b6 that i always use to to tether boot the phone but the phone keeps bringing up the apple logo instead of the pineapple and redsn0w seems to never complete the task happened 3 times, so what can i do i dont want to restore the phone ill loose too much how can i get iy to boot?

pls help.

Try to Use another Pc.. And maybe you Did'nt Properly put you're Iphone in Dfu Mode..

redsn0w went through the steps so im guessin the dfu was ok could be the pc, its not the one i used first im far from home and had to download itunes redsn0w and the ipsw original for 4.2.1 and there is only one pc, should it restart the pc and try again, never restart

Mine did the same thing . I have a 3gs new boot rom it has 4.2.1 BB 6.15 custom firmware. It was jailbroken and unlocked. 2 days ago it booted up and got stuck on apple logo with spinning circle. I/ve tried every solution on here with the same result it will never boot up fully it just gets stuck at apple logo. Please help!!!!!!! Ive even tried to do a restore with custom FM and still it wont boot up????????? Please Help!

Hello,

Use redsn0w_win_0.9.6b6, load iPhone2_1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore.ipsw then mark "Just boot tethered right now"

I did and all I get it the pineapple logo screen with a circle spinning forever????

Just to be a little more specific. When I do a restore with custom FM my phone never makes it to emergency call screen. I hangs up at the apple logo screen after the status bar appears and finishes????

another problem now, i put in back my sim card and now im getting no service, what to do any once can help me with this?
