| need help i have 8gb 2g iphone running ver 2 soft, i need to restore to ver 1.4 so i can learn unlock and fix imei / wifi / bluetooth using ziphone, please give clean and concise instructions, i have no prior knolage of iphone and this was gift to practise and learn on. |

| 1. put in dfu restore using itunes and 1.1.4 fw 2. afer restore you get the error 1015, restore again using itunes and 1.1.4 fw 3. using iLiberty Kick aout recovrey mode done |

| hi, i have enterd dfu mode, loaded itunes 7.5, used shift restore, loaded ver 1.4 but i get unknown error 1, then i have to load itunes 8 to update to ver 2 just to get the iphone back. why carnt i get ver 1.4 to load?? |

| just to add, i have tried to flash both ver 1.4 and custom 202 from this forum and every time i load itunes and the restore package it get to preparing iphone for update then stops with unknown error 1? |
