Member: 13353 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Need help with activating/unlocking/jailbreaking these two iPhone 3G 3.1.3 06.15.00 baseband The other iPhone 3G has: 4.2.1 05.15.04 baseband What's the best way to activate/unlock/jailbreak on Windows? I've done lots of research but still unsure on the best method. Thank you for any help!  |

Member: 1236325 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1616831 Thanks Meter: 272 | for iphone 3g 3.1.3 ( 6.15.00 ) u can jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.4 ( and choose ipsw 3.1.2 ) normaly redsn0w activated u'r iphone and from cydia with ( ultrasn0w.com ) u can unlock u'r iphone and for the next 3g version 4.2.1 u need to open redsn0w 0.9.8b1 or something and choose install ipad baseband that change u'r baseband from 5.15.04 to 6.15.00 and u can unlock same with cydia ultrasn0w  . |

1. for your 3g 3.1.3 base-band 06.15 can jailbreak but you will never get network coverage,so again restore with version 4.1.. then jailbreak with redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 or redsn0w_win_0.9.6b6 by thick only install cydia.note battery parcentage enable will make your phone littlw slow. 2. for your 3g 4.2.1 base-band 05.15.04 can use same redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 or redsn0w_win_0.9.6b6 need thick install cydia and install iPhone/iPod baseband(but this may disable your GPS - have fixes,sometime battery issue,tethered - need to use greenpois0n once for untethered but there is no way without updating base-band for success unlock)  | |
