Hi, I have installed the latest version of ios 5.1,jailbreaked using redsnow preserving the modem firmware. I have also added the "semitether" from cydia to get rid of the rebooting issue. Also did the Click on “Just Boot” and then follow the DFU instructions with redsnow. But, still the phone hangs at apple logo during every restart and i am continuing with the "just boot" procedure. The phone still hangs at apple logo during every restart !!!!Could you advice me the proper solution to resolve this issue. Thanks

Now ios 5.1 have only tethered jailbreak we can do , so jst wait for untethered jailbreak of ios 5.1 OR Restore again with 5.1 and keep ur phone with out jailbreak ...

>IOS 5.1 is still tethered for now . if you have the saved shsh of an lower version of IOS better to downgrade than doing that thethered issues.

You can make a Custom Firmware using sn0wbreeze.
Use ireb or redsn0w to boot in PWNED DFU mode
Restore in iTunes using the CFW.
After restore you can use iBooty created by sn0wbreeze on the desktop or Just boot tethered in redsn0w.
Download SEMITETHER from http://thebigboss.org/semitether ONLY the one from iHacks does not work.
