If any one can help I would really apreciate it. I have iphone 3gs 16gb 4.0.2 every month i receive $30charge for data/internet something i dnt use since im always on wifi is there any software i can download that will cancell my data. I wanted AT&T to do that but they wont since i have a smart phone. Please help

Why don't you go to 'Settings - General - Network - Cellular Data - OFF' on your iPhone and disable the DATA ....

perhaps you have activate data service in your plan, maybe its not problem of ur iphone, tlak with the support of ur carrier,

You DO have to have a data plan if you get an Iphone from ATT.
Theres no way around it while your using ATT with an Iphone.
I have an Iphone and my son does not, were both ATT.
I tried using his simm card in my phone just for the heck of it and it didn't work.
So you will have to wait until your current contract is up and switch to a different phone that dosen't require a data plan.

i suppose you can turn to you sevice supplyer to get the data stopped, yup talk with the support of ur carrier
