Member: 1826636 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have the same problem. My iPhone 4 was working perfectly fine on iOS 5, then I updated to iOS 6 and no one can hear my voice on a phone call. Has there been a resolution to this, or are apple swapping handsets to resolve it? It works fine on a FaceTime call, and recording memos and videos works fine too. I've reset my phone, I've also wiped and reinstalled iOS 6, but still no joy. What's the deal? I'll have to go back to iOS 5 at this rate. This is so unlike apple. They've got a handful of devices to test twit software on for compatibility, how can a basic problem like this slip through? I'm basically left with a more expensive iPod touch with 3G! |

Member: 1828140 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have the same problem, but it didn't start right after my update to ios6. It only started doing it 3 weeks later and it has something to do with the earphones not disengaging once it's been pulled out of the phone. I can record video and record voice memos and during calls if I'm on load speaker it's works fine and the other side of the call can hear me but if it's on the normal headset speaker then they cant hear me unless I shout really loud and then it's only very faint. Also my Siri can't hear me very well either, she keeps saying I can't understand you. If I try reload ios6 it's still not working but if you put ios5.1.1 on then it's fine. Put ios6 back and it's fine for a while and then stops working again. It's definitely a software issue and should be solve by apple on the next minor update. Just make sure you guys report it on apples forms. |
