iPhone 4 mic problem after OS 6 update - GSM-Forum

Hi Every one, I noticed resently many iPhones 4 coming with the same mic problem after OS 6 update, it might be not related...anyway
the problem is that mic is working on recording( so mic it self is ok) but when making a call person on other side could not here anything?

anyone else seen same problem? is there any solution for that, except sending to Apple?

i have got same problem after update o6 mic not work i tried with changed mic strip & hansfree jack also but the same problem

I have the same problem.
My iPhone 4 was working perfectly fine on iOS 5, then I updated to iOS 6 and no one can hear my voice on a phone call. Has there been a resolution to this, or are apple swapping handsets to resolve it?

It works fine on a FaceTime call, and recording memos and videos works fine too.
I've reset my phone, I've also wiped and reinstalled iOS 6, but still no joy.

What's the deal?
I'll have to go back to iOS 5 at this rate. This is so unlike apple. They've got a handful of devices to test twit software on for compatibility, how can a basic problem like this slip through?

I'm basically left with a more expensive iPod touch with 3G!

I have the same problem, but it didn't start right after my update to ios6. It only started doing it 3 weeks later and it has something to do with the earphones not disengaging once it's been pulled out of the phone.

I can record video and record voice memos and during calls if I'm on load speaker it's works fine and the other side of the call can hear me but if it's on the normal headset speaker then they cant hear me unless I shout really loud and then it's only very faint.

Also my Siri can't hear me very well either, she keeps saying I can't understand you.
If I try reload ios6 it's still not working but if you put ios5.1.1 on then it's fine. Put ios6 back and it's fine for a while and then stops working again.

It's definitely a software issue and should be solve by apple on the next minor update. Just make sure you guys report it on apples forms.

i have the same problem with 2 iphones 4 after restore to ios 6 i got this problem, when i record video no voice even in playing some games or apps !!! any one have any clue or solution please help!!!
