NO SERVICE for my iphone 3g!!!always prompt restore needed!! - GSM-Forum

my iphone 3g after restart then got signal back, but after few min or hours will prompt that "RESTORE NEEDED, iphone cannot make or received call. restore from itunes.www.apple.com/support! then will become No Service!

i already try to restore and jb/unlock with blackra1n, and try also restore and jb/unlock with redsn0w 0.9.3.

unluck, both also cannot.so anyone know is wat prob or any idea with my iphone 3g?

me too the same problem, no bluetooth,no imei , no moden firmware .A friends have any solution ????

but if out this word then the iphone cant charge the phone!!only stuck at 10%.

Actually if youll try to restore it then it will give you error 23,which means you have hardware problem.....thats why you have no network and no wifi and bt....

yes error 23 means hardware as my experience

this phone has no imei no bluetooth and also wifi

i refalsh it to v3.1.3, then it is working . but only last 1 hour, then it ask "restore needed" then become NO service, it looks like can not read sim, because no matter what sim i inserted, it has no respond at all!always "NO SERVICE"

plz help!!!!!!!!!!

iphone is saying SEARCHING... without sim .. and says RESTORE NEEDED..

it means Phone Is BRICKED.

100% correct its bricked .................the base band is corrupted

Its probably fixable but will 99.9% not sucess rate

Try this but not 100% though I encountered some and fixed it this way:

If the reason is your 3G has been updated before on IOs 4 upto 4.02 and downgraded again to 3.1.3 the issue is the lockdown

though on IOs 4 the result is your phone shows different sim detected on 3.1.3 nothing shows but it is there...

So what I do is:
*Restore 3G to 3.1.3 (use official firmware not custom)
*Activate with Test card or Original sim
*Jailbreak (for me I use spirit for this versions and model)
*install ultrasnow
*install lockdown from cydia.pushfix.info
*lastly reboot and put your carrier sim of choice...

try it if you like ...
you said that imei is ok
just want to help if not working on your part maybe hardware problem...

all things are tried but no solution softwarely and hardwarely also this problem is hardware,in hardware there is risk of dead.
