i have a 3gs showing password i try to restore using itunes v10 and iPhone2,1_4.0.2_8A400_Restore.ipsw but i got always error Error 3194

connect iphone in dfu mode then restore iPhone2,1_4.0.1_8A400_Restore.ipsw , to avoid failure to unlock in case locked, i tune will detect as new phone (empty one ) the jaibreak it with original sim card or activated, pr phone book simcard the connect wi-fi and go to safari connect jaibreakme 2.0, go to cydia and install reppo666 to unlock

it's 4.0.1 even if you see the file name 4.0.2 ( modded) use it to restore ur iphone without having shsh or anything else
just put the phone on dfu mode and restore
tested and worked for me

did somone tried to restore it today??????? its not my first time that i restore an iphone so any odeas always same error... did they stop signin 4.0.2???
thats why we cant downgrade it to 4.0.1??????????

you need to restore with 4.0 firmware and everything will be OK

I DONT KNOW WHY SOME PEOPLE COME UP IN HERE AND MISLEADING OTHERS!!!!! THERE IS NO WAY TO DOWNGRADE IPHONE 3GS WITHOUT HAVING SHSH blob SAVED ON SAURIK (CYDIA) SERVER AND WITH ALL THOSE IPHONE WITH PASSCODE LOCK THERE IS NO WAY TO GO ARROUND THAT WITHOUT PHONE JAILBROKEN OR DO A UPGRADE IN ITUNES AND WAIT FOR iOS 4.1.0 JAILBREAK
