Is that One sim cannot Activate Iphone with Baseband 5.14 - GSM-Forum

it was working before ok.. i activate many phone with sim..

but today i want to activate iphone 3G which was upgraded to 4.1 .. then i downgrade it to 3.1.3 after using recovery boot.. i tried to activate with one sim.. but itune saying card which is entered is not valid..

Then i jailbreak in Redsnow 0.9.4 and phone activated perfectly..

i want to know is that happen to me .. or really i cannot use One Sim card any more for activating purpose..

select the operator iphone is locked to, program the card and insert card into phone, open itunes, activated

need that so I can program activation SIMs...

there are two ways to find out model (operator)

1. ask the customer

2. download tinyumbrella for example, connect device and highlight/copy device model, the output is usually something like Mx123/xx, google that and you'll get some results

even owner of stollen phones know from which country phone came

If country have 1-4 operators who sells iphones, this is 2-5min to check all operators in onesim, so I don't see here problem at all.

That is 3G not 3GS , you can put any firmware into it.. and after when itune show error.. then just run Recovery boot to exit recovery mode..

thats it.. then activate..
