Passcode in Ipod - GSM-Forum

There is the passcode in my Ipod. I tried all available soft in the forum inlcluding the i phone browser etc. to remove the pass code but fail to do so. Kindly guide me how to remove that. It also shows the message Ipod is disabled.

Yes it is. But i tried hard to do so but failed.

it's got to be in DFU mode, that's the easy way....Of course it won't work in normal mode. If it errors out post error log

otherwise if you are still stuck, I will upload a little modified implementation of redsn0w i made to enable iphones that are disabled....and also remove the passcode- that way you don't wipe the handset if the customers requested it

i too need this solution as i have got iphone 3gs with passcode and cannot restore it with dfu mode or simple recovery mode always give error while restore either directly from server or using offline file using shift button. gives dufferenr errors such as 2300 or 1601 or 3104. i need solution urgent please help asap. thnx in advance. tried with versions 4.0 and 4.01 both.
