i have at&t iphone 4 black 16gb. i bought from some one. i saw about at&t unlock from this forum. thanks for all members. i spoke to USA at&t on 11/4/2012. my call transfered to unlock section. asked my name, email address, contact no. and IMEI no. for all other question, i said i don't have thees details. she start the call asking my at&t account no. i said i don't have. finally she gave me my CASE ID. CMxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx. now i have to wait for 7 working days. i will update you after 7 days.

I have unlocked my friends iphone from AT&T All for free

! no contract or antyhing asked. I still dont know why the UNLOCKERS want more than 100 $ for it if it can be done for free

After gave IMEI and email...Today i got email from AT&T
To complete the unlock, simply:
1. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC and verify that you have internet connectivity.
2. Connect your iPhone using the dock connector to USB cable that came with your iPhone.
3. Backup and restore your iPhone using iTunes.
For information on backup and restore, please visit ......
4. After restoring, your iPhone will be unlocked.
But..I don want get restore new OS 5.1...My question is
1.Can i restore with old OS 4.1 ( had save shsh by tinyumb.).. to keep old modem firmware and can be jailbreak..
2.If i restore with new OS 5.1 ...Can i jailbreak for 5.1

Write a mail to Customer Care for international unlock and they unlock it for free if it is qualified.

Hi !

I have some questions which i dont know the answer and ive seen some of you already managed to make unlocks with att directly on site :
1. If your phone appears blacklisted do they still unlocks it?
2. If i did not buy the phone myself ,as i bought it sh does it counts?
3. If the phone is still on contract do they unlock it?
4. Ive seen someone saying it was asked only for imei and email and other was asked for receipt also?what makes the difference?
5. If i have two phone and lets say i want to unlock also my friend phone from att,can i make it sending my mail or do i have to make new ones and new phone contacts for each phone unlocked?

CONGRATULATIONS!

NO NEED TO UPDATE TO 5.1

1- Simply add source repo.bingner.com
2- install SAM & SAMPREFS
3- OPEN SAM. Disable hacktivate and go to utilities
4- Deactivate
5- Revert Lockdown to stock
6- Connect to itunes with any sim and no GEVEY
7- UNLOCKED

will work provided your fone is factory unlocked and you have recieved email from AT &T

I unlocked mine using standard telephone method. Took 3 hours to unlock. Case was assigned and got first email confirming case, second confirming the unlock and method.

But for non-contract fone as client had paid full price. For legit unlock AT&T very helpful, if you try and unlock other blocked IMEIs, then mention server pls.
