Problems! I need Help after updating to ipad baseband the RESTORE - GSM-Forum

I updated my phone with redsnow to ipad baseband!
The cydia was white and when i pressed yhe button the programs exit every time! So i decided to make restore all contents and settings! SO... now i have my iphone with any icons on desktop! what i have to do to make my phone working again?!

Restore custom 4.2.1 after pwn dfu mode

download 4.1 IREB with IREB You can enter your Phone pwned DFU mod on IREB have instruction how you can .
Download Custom 4.2.1 for 3G or 3GS ,you no write model your phone
After open iTUNES 10.1 and shift + restore select custom firmware .
when compleet restore use redsnow 0.9.6 b5 select 1. and 3. and next with instruction

hello im sorry if solutions and questions were already posted but i have a slightly different problem and i hope someone can help me:

I have an iPhone 3gs 8gb with new bootrom and 4.2.1 installed through redsn0w 0.9.6b5

i upgraded to the ipad baseband.

everything went fine. now after the final reboot i get stuck with an apple logo and the load icon and it beeps like every 10 seconds.

i then tried to restore it with miy itunes (10.1) , didnt work.

i then tried to restore with a custom firmware i found on the internet, didnt work.
i tried the same with the :: 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com :: dns trick from saurik and it still didnt work.

what can i do ?

this is the solution for me!!!
1 use redsnow click firmware 4.2.1
2 tick in redsnow just enter pwned dfu mode right now
3 phone will to black screen and this dfu mode
4 now restore with custom firmware the link is available below
5 now ur phone will come to emergency mode
6 use redsnow again and tick only cydia option
7 ur phone will again hange on apple logo and dont worry
8 just enter boot theater right now
ur phone will come alive and then u can use cydia and can unlock ur phone if ur baseband is upgrade to 6.5.01 and if not then u can use cydia with both option of cydia and install ipad baseband selection and then repeat the above procedure

hi thanks for the reply.

i have now managed to get itunes to work with saurik ip for itunes.
installed custom firmware of 4.1 which i made with redsn0w
now after itunes tells me it will reboot the phone 9.8.7..1.0
itunes prompts me again that it has recognized a phone in dfu mode and wants to restore it again

i held power+home for 10seconds, didnt work. (1min, 5min etc.)
i have tried ireb, didnt work.
ive tried the reboot loop function in redsn0w, didnt work.

i am very sure that it is dfu mode because the screen is black and the itunes connect logo isnt showing.

i think the iOS is installed and running but i just cant get out of the dfu mode, to let the phone boot.

i just tried redsn0w "boot tethered" option, it booted (happy that it still works) with the pineapple logo, but after that it like 30-60seconds it turns black again.

i plug it into pc, itunes says it wants to restore..

do i have any possibility left which i havent done yet ??

Have Save your SHSH with tiny umbrella,,, if you has it's good for U couse it can help u with restoring firmware and fix error 1015 on itunes..here the step..
1. Make iphone on DFU mode
2. Restore iphone with itunes using your last firmware
(for this step u will see error 1015 but ignore it)
3. Use Tiny Umbrella to kick out or exit recovery mode
(wait until it finish)
5. use Redsnow 9b5 to jailbrake it
6. It's Done
and your iphone ready to unlock.

hi dakus.

i followed all your steps and i got 1015. after that i kicked it out of recovery.
now i am stuck with the itunes connect logo and when i start itunes it says recover device.....

do i just run redsn0w now and it will be fine ?
