Quick firmware question

My SHSH blobs are 4.1 and 6.0.1 (booo) on my old 3GS (newer baseband) but knowing of course that I can't update it to iOS 5 it is still possible to update it to 4.3 and above?

No, you can't . No SHSH - no other firmware version, exept 4.1 and last one .

Conflicting information here I see.
Apple stopped signing iOS 5 up to 6 but can't seem to find any info on whether I can download, for example 4.3 (8F190) as use that.
As they are large downloads I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time and preferably if anyone else has done this

Only 4.1 fimware and last one (ATM) are allowed for flashing without saved SHSH .

Thanks for the extra (but vital) info. As much as I thought really.
