Hello,

Many Including me Encounter Problem that REDSn0w Crashes While JailBreaking 4.2.1 or Updating BaseBand Option ..
While the Uploading RAMDISK it says " Redsnow Enoucounter an error and needs to be closed"

FIX :

Is Simple Open Task Manager in your Windows computer , Right Click on RedSnow.exe process and select Set Affinity as shown in the image below . Set it to CPU 1 only . Now try to jailbreak or Update baseband of your phone .
This is for WinXP users
Win7 and Winvista users RUN Priority mode of Redsnow to WINXP SP2 and Run as Administrator

simple unplug the device when redsnow process comes to first stage wait for 5 seconds and plug it back in and it should work like a charm no settings to do anything like that.
