as above beware ,uk orange came with 4.3.5 new ,downlgrade to 4.1 done .Used redsnow installed 6.15 , fxxked baseband all blanked

Thanx for the feedback but it could just be the case, your particular device got fxxcked after using redsnow. had a similar problem with my 3gs sometime ago.

you may want to update to 5.0 and you may have everything restored but you can only use it on the orange network in the interim.

I did with itunes 10.5 ,shows error -1

seems with the attempt to update to the ipad baseband, you won't be able to restore using stock firmware.

look for the latest version of snowbreeze which supports ios 5.0 and build a custom firmware and write to the phone.

or build/look for custom 4.3.5 and restore via itunes using the SHIFT+RESTORE option.

i have fixed an erased imei, baseband and bluetooth device.

not downgrade to 4.1 but ipad basband 6.15 messed up ur 3gs, production week 135 and higher cannot use ipad baseband anymore.

at snowbreeze what option to do ,should i do preserve baseband ?

3pcs 8gb orange uk killed 5 days ago lol on my desk nothign can help custom 5.0 or 3.4.5 or 4.1 with ipad basband no luck

If you have serial # of xx136xxxxx or higher and you attempt flashing ipad baseband (it will hang and reboot at this step in redsnow) then you will get error (-1), among many others. If you put in pwned dfu and manage to restore (only possible with 4.1 and ios5) when it boots a message will pop up on 3gs saying you need a restore and you will have no wifi, no bluetooth, no imei, and no modem version.

Error (-1) will however result in a rapid replacement at apple store lol

We can solve in future via JTAG Pinout from any Box,me to got more iPhone 3gs - 8gb same problem,but every time i make photo on iPhone "About" to save phone info for future,hope to have any big update from any box to solve thiss error.
