there must be some way, since they sell the front glass buy itself also the LCD can be bought by itself for about half the money of the complete unit.

on 2G you can Remove it by use some Glue Remover

BUT i would not suggest to do so...

Yeah something like that. I recommend technician to have his own 2g with damaged glass to practice first.

Thanks for link,but i can't see how to remove touchpad at glass.This video show how to open iphone and how to change LCD.

I want separate LCD,touchpad and glass,because i have one glass broken with touchpad ok and one glass ok with touchpad dead.

You understand what i want to do?

Maybe it is not possible,i've looked at youtube 5 minutes but i don't found video who show what i want.

Hello ! Is there somebody who succeeded to change only the LCD without digitizer ? I have Iphone 2G with bad display - stripes on it. The digitizer works perfect and the glass is ok.
I have seen cheap LCDs only - without digitizer:
Here

I have separeted the digitizer, LCD and the front lens with hairdryer so the digitizer is extracted and fully working:

Now I'm gonna buy the cheap LCD, but what you think - if i seal this cheap LCD to the digitizer and front glass will it be OK ?
