Remove security/user code iphone 3gs - GSM-Forum

I have one iphone 3gs and he have security/code ,the person have put many wrong codes and now the iphone is inactive , this iphone is previous unlocked but i dont know what version he have, i have tryed remove security code with software (iphone password remover ) but not success , i have tryed restore with ver 4.0.1 but itunes give error 3194, could i restore to version 4.0.2 (i didn´t try because at moment dont have) or itunes force-me to restore to 4.1 ?
If i upgrade to 4.1 could i downgrade to 4.0.1?

Did iTunes allow you restore to 4.01?

If you upgrade to 4.1, you cannot Jailbreak & Unlock phone.

If phone was previous unlocked the version in maximum is 4.0.1 .....i cant reinstal the same version i know , but coud i install 4.0.2 ( and next downgrade ) or itunes ´´force´´ to install 4.1 ?

ps : at moment i dont have 4.0.2 in my computer to test

You cant install 4.0.2 because iTunes only signed 4.1 Mate.

try to edit youre host go to c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc. open to note pad and edit youre host to look like dis

restore and manualy select 4.0.1

this only you got SHSH save on cydia if you don't have you can not restore,
If this iphone has been using once with the pcsuite then you still got a chance to overwrite the pass code by deleted lock file...

Is not the first time (with others iphones) i downgrade 4.0.2 to 4.0.1 and unlock , that file was previousely edited ( i have added the ip), but atm i dont have firmware 4.0.2 to test , my question is , now the last firmware in oficial apple is not the 4.0.2, but 4.1 , itunes forced to install the version 4.1 or manually i could select 4.0.2 and flash iphone sucessfuly?

Ps: 3 weeks ago i unlocked one iphone 3gs 4.0.1 but client want delete all data in phone and click um option to reset/factory defaults , next phone chash at start, i have tryed reinstall 4.0.1 but itunes give error , i read in a post i can´t install same version only version higher, i have upgraded to 4.0.2 and iphone back working, next i downgrade again to 4.0.1 and unlock .

Hmmmm go to the first page of this apple Inc. Forum...then read....VIOLA!!! there's a link for all firmware..... used a little bit of an effort to LOOK AROUND>>>CHEERS

yes i have readed and previously download but that files is in dmg format and i want in ipsw format
