Restore 3gs without SHSH
 

Hi to all..

Today i have figure out a way to flash a 3gs without cydia saved shsh.
I had one 3gs (3.1.3) with sec code. no cydia was saved. but i did a try but not work.

The method worked for me :

Put the phone in recovery mode.
Get the ECID with usbview.exe
start tiny umbrala and select the manual ECID
put the name of the device..past the ECID and select the 3gs and click on "create custome device"
open redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 and select orginal fimware 4.1 and proceed..and select "yes" and than "just enter in pwned dfu mode right now"
let it fininhed.
run the tiny umberala and start tss server.
and restore the firmware 4.1 with shift key

when finished.. activate and unlock.

Worked for me... Maybe help full for some one else also.

it wont work..........dear....you will get error....

U put manually the DEC converts to HEX auto.

Yes.. just copy and past like this:
ECID:00000247BA057D2E IBFL:01 SRNM:[87949U3M3NQ] IMEI:[012029005152652]

00000247BA057D2E is your ECID copy it and past it in the tiny umbrella

i've been success following your tutorial.

this is a working solution, just note i need to use redsn0w_win_0.9.6b6 as the b5 version
unable to recognize ipsw :D

And how can you unluck 4.1 with out updating your baseband to an I pad?

wierd.. no need usbview, with tinyumbrella u can see ECID & i think this is will not work
