helo guys pleaze help me iam new user in iphone..i have problem with my iphone 3g..i have reset and erase all data in my iphone but after erase my phone g3 only show epple logo..and i have download firmware 3.1.3 ipsw..now i dont know next step how to restore my iphone with itunes..becouse if i connect my iphone with itunes only show me update to new version..my iphone version 3.1.3 and i dont need to update new version..please tech me how to restore my iphone to version 3.1.3

hey u just download iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw file or restore in itunes,
1: u connect og cable in cpu or iphone and press home button or power button few second,or automatic iphone gone to dfu mode after open ur itunes auotomatic after pres shift button then restore ipsw firmware 4.2.1
restore complete after jailbreck to redsn0w click cydia or ipad or start and finiced jailbreck after unlock ultrasn0w ur problem is solve

thanks mobilehelper..i have download firmware 3.1.3..after download iam restore my iphone with itunes and complate but still have problem..the problem is only emergensi call and usb logo..can u tech me how to solve this problem step by step..thnaks for the help

if you have original carrier simcard insert it and activate phone in itunes.then use JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak it and instal ultrasnow to unlock.

Sound like you need to activate it.

Use redsn0w 0.9.4 to jailbreak and hacktivate it! All will be fine

I have the same.issue, mine is an iphone 4 from another country but i dont have the sim from the carrier, the carrier is entelpcs, is there a way.to bypass the activation screen, is on the latest firmware thanks, a donation would be given to whoever help me

thanks guys u all very help full.. my problem now solve..i have download firmware 3.1.2 and i jailbreak with redsnow 0.9.4 problem solve..but have still one problem my iphone no services..and i dont have wifi for download ultrasnow in cydia..any way to unlock with out wifi??and what version ultrasnow can unlock iphone 3g 3.1.3 if i download in cydia?

Glad my solution worked

now you need to unlock it to get signal, as you have no wifi then follow these instuctions
