hello guyz

i have no idea about how i could know if iphone is tetheret or untetheret
can some one tell me how can i know before jailbreak my iphone

i have unlock tow iphone 3g and 3gs 4.1 baseband 05.14.2
and the are untetheret

setps

1- i have upgrade my both devices to OS 4.2. basenband 06.15 using redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 and then install ultrasn0w from cydia

and they are working as untetheret jailbreak

for the first answer means if the iphone is update by itunes to 4.2.1 ( orginal firmware) that is mean it will be tetheret after jailbreak ,,, right

for the second i think it is big pro if someone not necessary to unlock but he want to do
it then it will be tetheret

what about mc and MB

Here is your Detailed Answers!

First :- if you have 3Gs with MCxxx Model Number, Then its Tethred
and for your any 3G/3Gs Model with MBxxx Model is Untethred

Second :- MB was old BootROM Chip in your iPhone, and MC is new Security BootROM Chip which is also Known as Tethred Models
