| so..iphone with 2.2.1 can't be upgrade to 3.0 to unlock anymore? as title, at the moment...we can't restore iphone 2.2.1 with v3.0 or 3.0.1 to unlock anymore? in this case, ONLY iphone with 3.0 and 3.0.1 can be unlocked. and we can't make any mistake during unlock procedure, because it can't be restored with 3.0 or 3.0.1 anymore...CORRECT? Attention: this thread started after v3.1 ONLINE! |

| Another question. if user installed a bad software, can we make hard reset to restore iphone instead of upgrade to v3.1? if so.. how? |

| successfully update 2.2.1 to 3.0.1 today iphone 3g 8gb. but in my 3pcs 3gs cant update firmware to 3.0.1 or restore to the same version "this error shows "the device isn't eligible for the requested built". i used itunes 8.2.1.6 |

| yes but........ when i connect my iphone on i tunes ,it gonna download the last version 3.1 and update my phone on 3.1 because it only restores with an internet connection????? |
