its coming up with redcross on the screen how can i flash it it connects with computer but dont show anything in itunes plz help

update your itunes to new version 10.5

if still not showing put your ipod in dfu mod by holding the power bottom 3 sec then togather power+home botton for 10 sec

then only home botton for 10 sec itunes will recognize your ipod.

If no luck after UPDATE via itunes, your iPod's drive is likely damaged and will need to be replaced in order to gain full functionality of the iPod again.
