So, follow the steps below carefully to speed up Cydia on your iPhone or iPod touch. Step 1. Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your PC via USB cable. Step 2. Navigate to /Applications/Cydia.app/package.js via

Open package.js with a text editor and find if (depiction == null) Step 5. Change the following to if (depiction == null || true) Step 6. Save the file and copy it to the original location. Step 7. Now, in i-FunBox, open Raw File System. Step 8. Double-click on the etc folder. Step 9. In the etc folder, open the hosts file with a text editor. Step 10. Insert the following codes in the hosts file to disable Google and fastclick advertisements- 127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com 127.0.0.1 media.fastclick.net Step 11. Save the file and disconnect your device from the PC. Step 12. Reboot your iPhone and open Cydia. Voila! No more distracting advertisements when you open packages in Cydia.
