Member: 1659200 Status: Offline Sonork: 1609422 Thanks Meter: 120 | as fadi said. Dont send iphone for factory unlock(this counts for AT&T and maybe for some other carriers too) if it is not activated before ( for example always been hacktivated!!). This disturbs the activation process after factory unlock. Somehow the imei isnt moved properly in the database of apple. This results in an iphone unlocked on database but CAN NOT BEING USED , because it doesnt activate. So be aware all ! check your iphone if activated on database of apple before sending for unlock Especially AT&T! thanks fadi bringing this on the forum...and hope safe some guys some headaches. |

Member: 1695601 Status: Offline Sonork: tuma jay Thanks Meter: 63 | i applied for 3 unlocks. 2 ATTs (both iphone4) and one 02uk(3GS) .the three had issues activating thru iTunes. after 3 days, i suggested to d 3gs guy to downgrade d bb and do a full restore to 601 before connecting iTunes. he was successful. Now the 2 iphone4 locked to ATT still refuse to activate. one has never been activated and d other was activated and has been using gevey sim. both have restored to full ios601 without reserving baseband and still getting activation error message. dont know what else to do. kindly help with more suggestions |
