Iphone 3gs 3194 error while restoring (fix) remember to say thanks :-) - GSM-Forum

FILES NEEDED

1.itunes
2.ireb-r4
3.iphone 3gs restore file
4.snow breeze 2.7 for creating custom firmware from 4.3.3
5.redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and remove both "hosts" and "hosts.umbrella" file. do not delete them, just cut and paste safely into a folder on your desk top or where ever.

2. create custom firmware with sn0wbreeze 2.7

3.use ireb-r4 to pwn your iphone 3gs in dfu mode for restoring custom firmware.

4. open itunes and connect iphone, click shift and locate custom firmware you just made. ( i get error 1015 when i use official firmware).

5. after restoring the iphone will start up normally to activation screen, use redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16 to jailbreak (untethered) your iphone.

6. after step (5) just unlock your iphone with ultrasn0w and you are good to go.

this solution also works for iphone 3gs stuck in dfu mode after restore (i tried it myself)

I just installed update on itunes, then restore iphone, and ready...

old solution, only work old firmware 4.3.3 but apple update fw 4.3.3 to 4.3.4 and not signing old firmware (like 4.3.3) , when apple update? so brother just wait sn0wbreeze new update .....................
